  • C4L #1 - Passing the Baton: Succession Planning for Pastors

    This workshop is designed to help pastors who are considering transitioning from pastoral

    leadership. It is helpful for both pastors and key congregational leaders. The workshop can be

    personalized for a specific church and/or a clergy group. It is designed to be a two-hour

    workshop to allow for adequate discussion. This workshop can be designed as a series of

    smaller sessions. Other sessions on this topic include:

  • C4L #2 - Clergy Mentoring

    This workshop is designed to help clergy understand the many concepts of mentoring, and how

    to develop effective mentor-mentee partnerships. The concept of shared non-hieratical

    mentorship will be examined. Also, this workshop will assist participants in clarifying the role,

    responsibility, and accountability of both the mentor and the mentee in the mentoring process.

  • Cr4L #3 - Leadership Strategies for Churches in Transition

    Many churches are caught off guard when there is a transition of leadership. It can become a

    season of chaos or a time of growth and transformation. This workshop is designed to assist

    church leadership lead the church through the season of transition with confidence and purpose.

    Strategies will be shared to help churches increase and enhance the internal communication,

    spiritual life, ministry focus, and the sense of unity during seasons of transition.

  • C4L #4 - HIV/AIDS Prevention Education in the Black Church

    HIV/AIDS is still increasing in the African American community and, even before the outbreak

    of COV-19, it was considered at pandemic level. However, the Black church is relatively silence

    on the issue. This workshop is designed to educate key church leaders and the church

    community on how the disease is transmitted and how to practice a safe and healthy lifestyle to

    prevent its spread. Because HIV is a sexually transmitted disease, this workshop will include

    sensitive information of a sexual nature.Description goes here

  • C4L #5 - Wisdom for Women Discerning a Call to Pastor

    Many women struggle with not only the call to ministry but their call to do ministry in the

    African American church. This workshop is designed to assist women who are struggling with

    the call to pastor. This discerning workshop will explore what a call to pastor entails, what the

    role of a pastor involves, and what steps are necessary for one to answer the call to pastor in an

    African American Church setting. This workshop can also be designed to accommodate both

    women who are called to pastor and pastors who are supportive of women who are called to

    pastor.
